Ingredients
For the chicken:
- 1 kg de of Dhayaati's chicken thighs (you can also use any part of the chicken that you'd like, chicken breasts work just as well)
- 300g of flour
- 100 g of corn starch
- 600ml of milk
- 2 table spoons of vinegar
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 tsp of curcuma
- 1 tbsp of paprika
- 1 tbsp of powdered onion & garlic
- 1 tssp of ginger
- 1 tsp of chili pepper
- 1 tbsp of coriander
- Frying oil
Directions
- In a big bowl, mix 600ml of milk with 2 tbsp of vinegar and 1/2 tsp of salt and pepper
- Put the chicken thighs in this mixture for at least an hour, for a bette rtaste, let it rest during the whole night in the fridge.
- Add the flour and the corn starch in a big bowl, add the spices and a tsp of salt and pepper
- Pour tap water in a big bowl
- Add the chicken in the flour mixture and mix it in during a minute and a half. Turn the chicken really well so it’s all covered. Don’t press on the chicken too hard.
- Heat up the oil in a sauce pan
- Put the chicken thighs in water during 4 seconds then put them back in the flour. Coat the chicken again with the flour mixture, this time without putting it back into water.
- Put the chicken thighs in oil and bring the heat down.
Now that everything is ready, all you’ve got to do is to enjoy your meal !
