Ingredients
- 2 Dhayaati chicken breasts, skinless and boneless, cut into pieces
- 2 tbsp of olive oil (you can replace it with butter)
- 250g of fresh mushrooms, sliced (or one small can of mushrooms) d
- 1 chopped chalote
- 2 minced garlic cloves gousses d’ail, hachées
- ½ cup or 125ml of chicken broth (you could use bouillon cubes)
- 50 to 100 g of grated parmesan
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 tsp of paprika
- 1 tsp of aromatic herbs (persil, thym)
- Salt and pepper to your taste
- 250g of pasta
Directions
To prepare the sauce :
- Put the oil or the butter in a big pan then cut your Dhayaati chicken breasts in small pieces.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Put the chicken in the pan for a few minutes till its golden brown.
- Take the chicken off the pan and keep it in a dish.
- Put the chopped chopped chalote in the pan and stir it fast. Add the sliced mushrooms and stir it as well.
- If you feel the need to, add a little more olive oil. Add the garlic and paprika then mix it all and stir it fast.
- Add the broth and wait till it boils. Let it cook for some time before adding the grated parmesan.
- Once the parmesan melts, add the cream. Put the chicken back in the pan, let it boil and cook for a few minutes to thicken the sauce.
- Add the aromatic herbs and mix well.
To prepare the pasta :
- While you’re prepping the sauce, cook the pasta depending on the time indication on the packet.
